Delaware North UK is hiring casual a Restaurant Manager at Banks on the Wear to join our team at Stadium of Light in Sunderland, Tyne and Wear. As Restaurant Manager at Banks on the Wear, you will be leading a team of waiters and supervisors to deliver guest service excellence at our restaurant created alongside two-Michelin-star Chef, Tommy Banks. What will you do?

  • Oversee daily shift responsibilities of Restaurant Waiters and Supervisors within a premium setting
  • Support with the training, development, motivation, and monitoring of team members, ensuring teams are up to date with the evolving à la carte menu
  • Appropriately address all guest concerns in a timely and professional manner, ensuring accurate knowledge of all restaurant and menu information, ensuring each visit feels considered
  • Ensure the operation complies with current health and safety, food hygiene, fire regulations, licensing laws, and trading standards, maintaining Delaware North’s policies and standards of excellence

More about you

  • No degree required
  • Experience managing and leading large teams in a fine-dining hospitality environment
  • Knowledge of the fine-dining and the Food & Beverage industry, preferably within hospitality and catering environments
  • Skills in communication, leadership, teamwork, attention to detail, organisation, strategic thinking, and multitasking in a fast-paced environment

Physical requirements

  • Work all matchdays with opportunity for set up shifts
