Overview
We’re looking for a detail-driven, motivated Housekeeper to join our friendly team at The Old Mill Inn, an award-winning hotel, bar & restaurant in the heart of Pitlochry.

As part of our housekeeping team, you’ll play an essential role in ensuring our 14-bedroom hotel, restaurant, and bar maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort for our guests. You’ll take pride in your work, enjoy being part of a busy hospitality environment, and share our commitment to five-star service.

Daily tasks will include:

  • Ensuring the full hygiene and cleanliness of guest bedrooms, bathrooms, and public areas
  • Preparing rooms for new arrivals and maintaining high presentation standards throughout guest stays
  • Sorting and storing linens and towels
  • Replenishing guest amenities and reporting maintenance issues promptly
  • Liaising with the General Manager regarding linen and cleaning product stock levels
  • Supporting the wider team with daily operations when required
  • Providing friendly and professional service to guests at all times

About You

We’re looking for someone who takes real pride in creating spotless spaces and a warm, welcoming environment.

Essential attributes:

  • 18 years +
  • Smart and presentable appearance
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good spoken English and communication skills
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently
  • Eligible to work in the UK

Desirable attributes:

  • Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel or hospitality environment
  • Knowledge of cleaning and hygiene standards in line with COSHH and Health & Safety regulations
