Full job description

We're looking for a reliable and conscientious cleaner to join our team and help keep a beautiful restaurant in Christchurch looking its best.

  • Days: Saturday & Sunday mornings - 1.5 hours per shift
  • Time: 5:30am – 7:00am
  • Location: Christchurch

Please therefore only apply if you are comfortable working within these hours.

The ideal person will take pride in their work, have a good eye for detail and be dependable and committed to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness.

Cleaning duties will be demonstrated but will include hoovering and mopping of floors, cleaning bathrooms and restocking of consumables etc.

Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas
  • Dispose of waste and recycling materials in accordance with company policies.
  • Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting any shortages or malfunctions as necessary.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete cleaning tasks efficiently and effectively.
  • Respond promptly to requests

Requirements

  • Previous experience in commercial cleaning is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and equipment is advantageous.
  • A positive attitude and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
