Job Summary
We are seeking a diligent Domestic Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within private households or commercial premises. This role offers an opportunity to work in a professional environment, ensuring client satisfaction through meticulous cleaning and organisational skills. Previous experience in janitorial, hotel, or commercial cleaning is advantageous, and a friendly, customer-focused attitude is essential. The position is paid and suitable for individuals who take pride in their work and are committed to delivering exceptional service.

Duties

  • Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces
  • Clean bathrooms, kitchens, and other designated areas to high standards of hygiene
  • Organise cleaning supplies and ensure all equipment is maintained in good working order
  • Assist with laundry duties when required, including washing, ironing, and folding clothes
  • Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently within allocated timeframes
  • Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
  • Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
  • Occasionally prepare light refreshments or organise kitchen areas as needed (cooking skills are a bonus)

Experience

  • Prior experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning roles is preferred
  • Hotel housekeeping experience is highly desirable
  • Experience in domestic or residential cleaning environments is advantageous
  • Skills in cooking or customer service can be beneficial but are not essential
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are required for success in this role
