Full job description

We are seeking a professional and organised Full Time Associate Front of House to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide support, ensure smooth front-of-house operations, and deliver excellent customer service. This role offers an opportunity to utilise your organisational skills in a dynamic environment. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing various hospitality tasks, maintaining effective communication, and supporting daily business functions.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers in a courteous and professional manner
  • Manage incoming calls with excellent phone etiquette and direct enquiries appropriately
  • Ensure the front-of-house area remains tidy and welcoming at all times
  • Serve customers efficiently and courteously, ensuring a positive dining experience
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas in accordance with food safety regulations
  • Support with stock replenishment and inventory management
  • Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and maximise sales opportunities
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines diligently, including proper handling of food and equipment
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service during busy periods
  • Manage time effectively to ensure orders are prepared promptly and accurately

Skills

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is desirable but not essential
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures
  • Basic maths skills for handling transactions and portion control
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently
  • Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining friendly customer interactions
  • Culinary experience or kitchen background is a plus but not mandatory
