Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Chef De Partie to join our team at Lupton's Chop House in White Cloth Hall. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment, ensuring consistency and adherence to food safety standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a genuine interest in culinary arts and restaurant service to develop their skills and contribute to an exceptional dining experience.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
  • Assist in meal preparation, ensuring timely delivery of orders during busy service periods
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including workstations, utensils, and equipment
  • Follow food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and excellent customer service
  • Monitor stock levels and notify management of any shortages or supplies needed
  • Assist with plating dishes attractively and efficiently for presentation purposes

Skills

  • Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or catering environment
