Our Italian restaurant in Broadway Market, Hackney offers a menu with a combination of classic Italian dishes and contemporary twists. From delicious antipasti and homemade specialità di pasta to pizza, pesce, carne, and indulgent desserts, Bella Vita is the perfect destination for Italian food lovers.

We are now looking for a passionate and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team and lead the floor operation with energy, personality, and exceptional service standards.

The Role
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead our team and ensure the continued success of our restaurant. As the General Manager, you will be the driving force behind the smooth day-to-day operations, maintaining our high standards, and fostering an environment where both staff and customers thrive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Leadership: Be actively present on the restaurant floor during busy hours to oversee operations and ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Team Management: Motivate, develop, and inspire the team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Rota Productivity: Strategically plan and monitor staff schedules to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and optimal productivity.
  • Customer Experience: Maintain and elevate our reputation by ensuring exceptional service and addressing customer needs with care and professionalism.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze KPIs, including sales, customer feedback, and team performance, to drive continuous improvement.

What We’re Looking For

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar General Manager role within the hospitality industry, preferably in high-volume restaurants.
  • A hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys being actively involved in service during peak times.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan and execute effectively under pressure.
  • Passionate about Italian cuisine and committed to delivering the highest standards of service.
  • A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ready to boost team morale and cultivate a strong team spirit.
