Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail. Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally valued. Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are noted
  • Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation
  • Assist guests with menu selections and upselling additional items to enhance their experience
  • Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are adhered to during service and food preparation
  • Clear tables promptly and maintain cleanliness in the dining area throughout shifts
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
  • Handle guest inquiries professionally, resolving any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
  • Manage cash transactions accurately and process payments efficiently
  • Support team members during busy periods to maintain smooth operations

Skills

  • Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is advantageous
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper serving techniques
  • Basic food preparation skills and understanding of culinary practices are beneficial
  • Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanour
  • Good organisational skills with effective time management abilities
  • Ability to perform basic maths accurately for billing purposes
  • Kitchen experience or culinary background is a plus but not essential
