Full job description

Bakery Assistant

Duties:
- Assist in the preparation and production of our signature bakery items such as cookies, brownies and blondies
- Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes, following strictly
- Operate baking equipment such as ovens and mixers
- Monitor baking process to ensure products are baked to perfection, training will be given
- Decorate and package finished bakery items as we have wholesale customer. Deliveries will also be needed to be made to these customers
- Clean and maintain work areas and equipment to ensure our high standard are kept

- Help with any deliveries of stock to our Macclesfield site that is open 6 days a week

Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a bakery or food service environment is preferred
- Knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Excellent time management skills to meet production deadlines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Good communication skills to work effectively with team members
