As a small family-run business with big ambitions, we pride ourselves on creating a friendly atmosphere and warm welcome for our guests. Our venue hosts renowned DJs, musicians, and private events, making it a vibrant spot for both dining and entertainment.
Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Bar Person to join our team at The Fez Lounge. In this role, you will contribute to delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our bar area. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a lively venue that celebrates Moroccan culture through food, drinks, and live entertainment. The opportunity is for Friday & Saturday evenings 9pm - 3am
Responsibilities

  • Greet and serve customers efficiently while maintaining a friendly demeanor.
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Manage bar stock levels and assist with inventory control.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area.
  • Support the team during busy periods and special events.
  • Provide excellent customer service to enhance guest experience.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a welcoming environment that reflects our Moroccan-inspired theme.
  • Qualifications
  • Proven experience in hospitality or bar service.
  • Excellent cocktail knowledge and consistency in delivery
  • Able to work well under pressure & busy periods
  • Knowledge of food safety standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions.
  • Enthusiasm for Moroccan culture or hospitality is a plus.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
