Full job description

We are looking for a talented individual to head our team. A chef who has good skills and excels in an extremely busy service. An individual who will bring menu ideas to the table, flair in presentation and flavour. The right chef will need to be used to working at a fast pace whilst still maintaining standards.

You will be working a five day week in the beautiful surrounds of Bramall Hall and Park at the busy Stables Kitchen. Open seven days per week we pride ourselves on freshly prepared dishes and quality drinks, table served and to take away. You will be an experienced and enthusiastic chef who thrives in a busy environment and works well under pressure as part of a small team. You will be responsible for all aspects of managing the kitchen and the kitchen team. You will work closely with our Manager in creating new dishes and daily specials and have the freedom to create your own reputation for good food.

The Stables is open 9.30am until 5.30pm during the summer months and until 4.30pm during the winter. This role would suit an individual who has good strong cooking skills, leadership experience and is perhaps looking for a lifestyle change or a new challenge. We do have occasional evening events at the Stables and there will also be an opportunity to develop your skills in event catering at various other locations. Be passionate about your role and you will fit right in to this fun and focussed team.
