We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations within our vibrant dining establishment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional service, maintaining high standards of food safety and quality, and leading a dedicated team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional with a passion for culinary excellence and team leadership to contribute to a thriving restaurant environment. The position is fully paid, including internship opportunities, and requires a proactive approach to managing both front-of-house and back-of-house functions.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, cooking, and serving processes
  • Supervise staff members, providing guidance, training, and performance management to ensure high standards of service
  • Manage team schedules, optimise staffing levels, and coordinate shifts to meet business demands
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain rigorous standards of cleanliness and hygiene
  • Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock control efficiently
  • Foster a welcoming atmosphere for guests, addressing any concerns promptly to ensure customer satisfaction

  • Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting
  • Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate staff effectively
  • Extensive restaurant experience with knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols
  • Familiarity with culinary processes including food production and kitchen operations
  • Excellent leadership qualities coupled with exceptional organisational skills
  • Experience in hospitality environments such as hotels or bars is advantageous
