Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Front of House Staff to join our vibrant team. This role involves delivering exceptional guest services in a lively dining environment, ensuring every customer has a memorable experience. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and a friendly demeanour. Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within the food and beverage industry while working in a dynamic setting.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring prompt service
  • Serve food and drinks in accordance with food safety standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area
  • Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities
  • Handle guest enquiries professionally and resolve any issues promptly
  • Process payments accurately using the POS system
  • Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation when required
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
  • Assist in setting up and clearing tables efficiently during service periods

Requirements

  • Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is desirable but not essential
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper serving procedures
  • Basic maths skills for handling transactions and bills accurately
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
  • Strong guest service skills with a friendly and approachable manner
  • Ability to work well within a team and adapt to changing priorities
  • Culinary or kitchen experience is a plus but not mandatory
  • A proactive attitude towards upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales potential

Pay: Up to £12.71 per hour
