Buck’s Bar is looking for a passionate, driven Assistant General Manager to join our Hanover Street team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in one of Scotland’s fastest-growing independent restaurant groups.

What we’re looking for
You’ll be someone who:
- Leads from the front and stays hands-on during busy services
- Creates memorable guest experiences and puts customers first
- Has at least one year’s experience as an Assistant General Manager or Senior Supervisor in a high-volume restaurant or bar
- Confidently manages stock, labour and controllable costs
- Solves problems proactively and brings a positive, can-do attitude
- Inspires, motivates and develops the people around them
- Has a genuine passion for hospitality, coaching and team development
What you’ll be doing
- Overseeing the day-to-day running of the restaurant
- Maintaining consistently high standards of food, drink and service
- Training, supporting and motivating team members
- Leading floor and kitchen operations during busy services
- Managing guest feedback professionally and effectively
- Ensuring food-safety, cleanliness and compliance standards are met
- Working closely with senior management to drive performance, standards and profitability
