About Us

Dondon is a fast-growing Asian casual dining restaurant serving fresh donburi, noodles, bao, artisan tea, smoothies, coffee, and Asian bakery products. We are looking for an experienced restaurant supervisor or team leader (FH or BH) to join our leadership team and help deliver excellent customer service and operational standards.

The Role

You will support the Restaurant Manager in the day-to-day running of the restaurant, leading shifts, motivating staff, ensuring food safety compliance, and delivering a great guest experience. You will be trained to help both the kitchen and the bar to smooth the order flow.

Ideal Candidate

We are particularly interested in candidates who have worked in high-volume casual dining brands such as Wagamama, Rosa’s Thai, Pho or similar fast-paced restaurant environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage daily restaurant operations during shifts
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve guest issues professionally
  • Ensure orders are served in a timely and presentable manner
  • Train, coach, and motivate team members
  • Ensure food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards are maintained
  • Monitor labour costs and productivity
  • Support stock control, ordering, and waste management
  • Assist with staff scheduling and rota planning
  • Drive sales and help achieve business targets
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the restaurant

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ bar/kitchen experience in a UK based restaurant
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Experience in managing teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Good understanding of food safety and HACCP procedures
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and busy service periods
  • Fluent English required; Speaking Chinese is an advantage
