have a rare opportunity to join the management team as Deputy General Manager.

As a Deputy General Manager at THE PIG,you will be responsible for encouraging effective communication and organisation across all departments,liaising with the group support functions on all aspects of the hotel operation whilst demonstrating a positive attitude in all that you do.

You will be supporting the Hotel Director in all aspects of the daily running of the hotel,providing continuity,and taking full responsibility for the hotel in their absence.

As part of a growing group,this role has a clear pathway to progression for the right candidate,most of our Hotel Directors have developed from the role of DGM,we aim to promote from within at all available opportunities.


We require a Deputy General Manager who thrives from working within a team environment but equally happy to work alone to complete all tasks within a consistent and timely manner.


Responsibilities include,but not limited to:

  • Being present on the floor,working closely with all staff to drive excellent standards across all departments.
  • Encourage training & development,cross-training and employee enrolment on our apprenticeship and development programmes.
  • Have an analytical view with regards to costs,budgeting,room rates,revenue and property projects and developments.
  • Deputise in all tasks in absence of the Hotel Director.


The ideal applicant will have significant and demonstrable experience within a hospitality management role. Experience and knowledge across high-volume or premium casual dinning restaurants is a must. You must have the competency to deliver high-volume operations,being an excellent communicator who’s a true custodian of THE PIG,supporting our mission to be the future of caring & considered hospitality.
