Pasta Chef – Rossella Kentish Town & Muswell Hill

Rossella is a well-established and much-loved family-run Italian restaurant brand, serving the local community for over 12 years.

Following the success of our original Kentish Town restaurant, we have recently opened our brand-new site in Muswell Hill and are now looking for a passionate and experienced Pasta Chef to join the team.

Known for our authentic Italian food, warm atmosphere and genuine hospitality, this is a fantastic opportunity for a strong chef looking to work with fresh ingredients, a supportive team and a growing independent business.

This role is very hands-on and service focused. You will spend 4 days a week running the Pasta section helping maintain consistency and quality throughout service.

We are specifically looking for someone with strong experience working in busy Italian restaurants who understands fresh pasta, proper sauces, organised prep, fast-paced service and the importance of consistency. A genuine passion for Italian food and culture is essential.

The Good Stuff:

  • Salary £39,000 NET
  • 4 days on, 3 days off - based on 50 hours

You’ll work closely with high-quality suppliers and products, including ingredients from our own family farm and vineyard in Benevento, Italy.

We are looking for someone organised, passionate about food, calm under pressure and confident leading a busy service alongside the rest of the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Run and manage your kitchen section during service
  • Maintain high food quality, consistency and presentation
  • Help train and mentor junior chefs
  • Assist with stock control and minimising waste
  • Maintain excellent hygiene and food safety standards
  • Work closely with the Front of House team to deliver a great guest experience
