Job description

We now have a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and hardworking General Restaurant Manager.

You will need to be able to work flexibly on a Straight Five day working Wednesday to Sunday with Monday and Tuesdays off unless private functions required, which will include Public Holidays and weekends.

In order to apply for this position you must

Support the Management in the day to day management of the restaurant, taking full responsibility in their absence;Proactive management of a large team, leading by example to deliver the outstanding customer service which has come to be expected by the brand;Full engagement and involvement in back office operations including rota planning, ordering etc;Local level marketing to promote the brand and the restaurant and to increase top line sales;All aspects of health & safety

As well as the day to day running of the restaurant, other roles will include:

*Staff Rota’s & Budget Control

*Epos Till and Stock Control

*Staff Training

*Menu planning and Wine Lists

*Health & Safety Protocol

*Social Media & Marketing Planning

The ideal candidate will:

Have at least Two year's Fine Dining Restaurant management experience
Be very customer-oriented and obsessive about great service
Be a strong leader, be very good at training staff and at setting high standards to the team
Understand the P&L of a restaurant business - and driven to achieve financial results
Not shy away from hard work and happy to get involved in all sides of the business
Be responsible, honest and dedicated to the role
