Akoko is a Michelin-starred restaurant in Fitzrovia, London, showcasing the diverse flavours and culinary traditions of West Africa through a refined tasting menu experience. We are looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Restaurant Manager to join our team and help deliver exceptional service and guest experiences.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for running the floor day to day and supporting the Group GM and AGM in delivering warm, seamless, world-class service. You’ll lead the FOH team with confidence, manage service flow, and spend time engaging with guests at the table

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading service and setting the tone on the floor
  • Engaging confidently with guests — guiding them through the tasting menu and pairings
  • Overseeing table-side service with attention to detail and finesse
  • Coaching and managing the FOH team
  • Working closely with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth operations
  • Managing rotas, stock, orders and FOH admin
  • Upholding high standards across team performance and guest experience

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in busy environments with high attention to details
  • Comfortable with table-side service and confident guest interaction
  • At least 2 years experience in a Michelin-starred or high-end fine dining environment
  • Excellent communication and guest engagement skills
  • Commercial awareness and a proactive approach
  • Ability to support and develop colleagues
