Full job description

Villas Brazil is looking for an experienced, confident and enthusiastic Head Waiter / Head Waitress to lead our front-of-house team.

We are a vibrant Brazilian restaurant and cocktail bar, and we're looking for someone who takes pride in delivering excellent customer service, leading a team and creating a fantastic guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate the restaurant floor during service.
  • Supervise, train and motivate waiting staff.
  • Welcome guests and ensure outstanding customer service.
  • Manage table bookings, seating arrangements and service flow.
  • Work closely with the kitchen, bar and management teams.
  • Increase sales through recommendations and upselling.
  • Handle customer enquiries and resolve complaints professionally.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation and hospitality.
  • Take ownership of the restaurant floor during busy shifts.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Head Waiter, Head Waitress or Restaurant Supervisor.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Excellent spoken English.
  • Ability to work confidently in a busy restaurant.
  • Friendly, professional and customer-focused personality.
  • Good knowledge of food, drinks and cocktails.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
