Caccia & Tails is a busy independent cafe-bar specialising in Italian focaccia and cocktails, offering all day dining, focussing primarily on focaccia Genovese, sandwiches, bar snacks and now also serving brunch and evening meals with great cocktails, coffee and sweet things that are all made with love in house..

Established 8 years ago, in Lewes, we now have our flagship site on Lewes High Street.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced and professional hands on cafe manager ideally with extensive experience in both front and back of house.

Opportunities to get Involved in menu development, creating events and our social media campaigns, while building a great team culture.

Cafe Bar Manager essential requirements:

- A motivated and dynamic hospitality professional, focused on quality and customer service with 5 years experience +

- A passion for hospitality, great service and great food.

- Experienced Barista with knowledge of looking after and calibrating the coffee machine and serving exceptional coffee in a fast-paced environment.

- A background in excellent customer service with a natural predisposition towards organisation and attention to detail.

- Hard working with an ability to deliver consistency and excellence in service

- Following and implementing procedures.

- Strong leadership skills and an ability to train, encourage & motivate members of the team..

- Experience with food prep and some cooking would be a huge advantage.

- Experience in food safety standards and food production processes.

- Familiarity with kitchen operations, including food safety regulations and hygiene practices

Package:

Pay rate to be discussed depending on experience and hours.

- This is a full time role with potential flexibility in hours ranging from 35 to 42 hrs a week within a 7 day a week operation. Weekend and evening work essential.
