Full job description

We have a wonderful opportunity for an experienced skilled Butcher to join us in the role of Shop Manager managing the day to day running of our Coton Orchard shop, helping to drive performance and contribute to developing innovative, award winning quality products.

Working closely with and supported by area management and the Butchery and Delicatessen team at our established shop located within Coton Orchard Garden Centre, you will be fully competent in all aspects of butchery with excellent butchery and display standards, providing premium quality products and service to our valued customers.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a skilled butcher with managerial responsibility in a busy retail environment
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to support and motivate a team
  • Commercial awareness and confidence balancing shop performance with customer service
  • Passion for product development and delivering premium quality produce
  • Drive, enthusiasm and pride in high standards.

This position is full time working 45 hours per week between the hours 7.30am-5.30pm on a 7 day rota.
