Full job description

Bournemouth's Premier Sports Bar/Pool Hall has an exciting opportunity for someone looking for a long term Management Position.

Sharkeys Bournemouth is the brands original sports bar with over 50 screens including VIP rooms, Pool, Darts, and Table tennis tables!

Due to our expansion across the south in the coming years we have a position for a Full Time Senior Duty manager at the south coasts premier sports bar!

The right candidate must be hard working honest and reliable and someone who enjoys working as part of a team or alone.

Also the right candidate must have excellent communication and customer service skills.

The role is primarily to manage our sports bar and help increase sales and provide first class customer service.

We are looking for the someone with strong leadership qualities and who has a 'can do' attitude.

Also someone with an interest in sport will have an advantage.

Someone who is able to motivate themselves and the team around them is a vital skill required for this role.

This role will also suit people who are looking to progress there career in the hospitality industry.

Further Promotion within the company is a very likely outcome for someone who shines due to Sharkey's future expansion.

Someone with a proven track record in this industry is essential.. A minimum of 3 years management experience in the hospitality industry is required to apply for this position.

Being highly driven for this role is essential as you will be aiming to meet your targets weekly and your salary is highly based around this, OTEs are realistic in this role as quoted below.

Position Overview

Full Time bar Supervisor 40 Hours per week, £12.71 Start Hourly rate, This can be reviewed upon completion of your porbation period, Plus Bonus scheme. OTE £27.5-£33.5k The main Bonus scheme for this role is a target bonus for the site that is set at £300 per week, the OTE is only based on hitting two targets per month. (Bonus scheme starts once training modules are complete, this is typically completed within 30 days)

40 hours per week, Shifts, 5 days a week (7 day Rota) Typical shifts are Sun-Thurs 6pm-2am Fri-Sat 6pm-3am Weekends and evening shifts are compulsory in this role. But can be booked off in advance with annual leave.
