Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team within the hospitality and food service industry. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for culinary excellence, and a comprehensive understanding of restaurant operations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee daily activities, support staff, and ensure exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

  • Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations to ensure smooth service delivery.
  • Supervise and motivate team members, including front-of-house staff such as servers and baristas, as well as kitchen personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and uphold hygiene standards across all areas of the establishment.
  • Manage staff rota, delegate tasks effectively, and monitor performance to optimise team productivity.
  • Assist with training new staff members and ongoing professional development initiatives.
  • Handle customer enquiries or complaints promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Support food production activities, ensuring efficient utilisation of ingredients and resources.
  • Contribute to the organisation’s goals by maintaining operational efficiency and fostering a positive working environment.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in restaurant or hospitality settings, with a strong background in hospitality
  • Supervising experience with demonstrated team management capabilities.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations is essential.
