Duty Manager – Mamma Dough, Brixton

Location: Brixton, London

Salary: £13-15 p/h

Lead the floor at one of South London's favourite independent pizza restaurants

Mamma Dough is looking for a driven, hands-on Duty Manager to help run our Brixton site. This isn't a corporate box-ticking role — it's a genuine leadership opportunity in a small, entrepreneurial team that cares about doing hospitality properly.

What You'll Be Doing...

  • Leading the day-to-day running of the restaurant floor
  • Driving service standards through visible floor presence and hands-on team development
  • Delivering warm, attentive, memorable guest experiences — and setting that standard for others
  • Shaping a positive, respectful, and ambitious team culture

What We're Looking For...

  • 1+ years' restaurant management experience (required)
  • A genuine service-first mindset — you love looking after guests and your team alike
  • A stickler for standards: hot food, cold drinks, clean tables, polished glasses — the basics, done brilliantly
  • An eye for detail, from table settings to team briefings
  • Old-school hospitality values — warm welcomes, and remembering regulars' names
