Restaurant Manager – The Tartan Fox, Cornwall

We’re looking for a brilliant Restaurant Manager to take the reins at The Tartan Fox, our Cornish pub where great food, great drinks and proper hospitality all come together. We want someone who loves the buzz of a busy pub, knows how to create an amazing atmosphere and, most importantly, knows how to make people feel genuinely welcome from the second they walk through the door.

This is a hands-on role, so we’re looking for someone who wants to be right in the middle of it all – leading the team, chatting to guests, keeping an eye on the details, jumping behind the bar when needed and making sure every service runs brilliantly. You’ll work closely with the kitchen team to keep pushing standards, develop the offering and make The Tartan Fox somewhere people want to come back to again and again.

We want someone with loads of personality, plenty of energy and a real love for hospitality. You’ll be confident leading and developing a team, commercially switched on and always thinking about what we can do next – whether that’s improving the guest experience, driving the business, creating a brilliant event or simply making a busy Saturday service even better.

You don’t need to be stuffy or overly formal – in fact, we’d rather you weren’t. We want someone who understands really good hospitality, someone who can run a tight ship, have a good relationship with the team, know the regulars by name and still make sure the standards are exactly where they should be.

And it’s not just about what happens inside the pub – we’ve got our own gardens and chickens too, all part of our love for great produce, sustainability and knowing exactly where our food comes from.
