Full job description

Donington Park Farmhouse is a seventeenth century Farmhouse with a series of original brick & timber barns, sympathetically restored to create a beautiful venue for Weddings, Parties, Company events and meetings. We have twenty boutique rooms, many with stunning views over the surrounding countryside.

We have two event spaces, the Barn accommodates events, mainly weddings, between 60 and 200 guests. The Stackyard which has recently been developed is a second private event space with large garden and is home to ‘pop up’ events throughout the year.

We are involved with 2 large music festivals each year, hosting the RIP camping site for the Download Festival in June and our own music festival ‘Off the Tracks’ in September.

Who are we looking for?

  • You are experienced in Food and Beverage operations in a busy Wedding Venue
  • You are a hands-on operator with the ability to lead from the front
  • You are a welcoming, friendly host to our wedding guests
  • You have a good work ethic and are able to work under pressure while maintaining high levels of service
  • You are able to work alongside our Head Chef and Events Manager to ensure a seamless event delivery from enquiry to the day
  • You can communicate effectively with colleagues, suppliers, and guests
  • You have a solid financial awareness in relation to staffing costs and beverage stock control including ordering
  • You have the ability to manage, motivate and develop your team

Our focus is on continuous improvement and therefore we value your contribution and empower you to showcase your talent. By bringing your own ideas to the table, we would love for you to make this role your own; recruiting, motivating and leading your team and implementing processes to improve standards.

Much of our business is evenings and weekends which is reflected in our rotas/shift patterns.

You will need your own transport as there is no bus route.
