Job Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager for our Bar and Restaurant.

Working with the General Manager you will be accountable for promoting our culture and values. To manage, develop and motivate staff whilst fostering a friendly and productive working environment.

The role offers an exciting opportunity for a professional with a strong background in hospitality who is commercially aware and has the experience to deliver outstanding service for all aspects of bar and restaurant operations.

The Assistant General Manager will support the General Manager to achieve key sales building objectives and to grow the business and drive revenue forward. To develop and implement operations, procedures, policies and standards to optimise efficiency and growth. Ensure compliance with health, safety and food regulations and work to best practice across all areas of the business.

Attention to detail is essential to provide a memorable guest experience and warm welcome at our venue. Ability to handle customer feedback and and resolve any enquiries professionally and promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

Skills

  • Proven experience in bar and restaurant management or strong supervisory roles within hospitality - 3 years preferred.
  • Strong leadership qualities to be able to lead the team to deliver a polished but relaxed service effectively.
  • Exceptional communication skills for liaising with staff and customers alike.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Commercially aware and knowledge of culinary trends.
  • Familiarity with hospitality software systems.
  • Experience in supervising food safety standards, food preparation processes and presentation.

Pay: £14.00-£16.00 per hour
