McGeorge Appointments is delighted to be retained to hire an experienced and hands-on General Manager to lead a multi-award winning Pub and Restaurant in Blackness on Sea. This is an exciting opportunity for a strong hospitality professional to take ownership of a popular venue known for its warm welcome, quality food and strong local reputation.

As General Manager, you will lead the day-to-day operation of the business, ensuring excellent guest experiences, high standards across food, drink and service, and strong commercial performance. You will play a key role in developing the team, managing service standards, controlling costs and helping the business continue to grow.

What we’re looking for

  • Proven experience in a senior hospitality management role
  • A hands-on leadership style with the ability to motivate and support a team
  • Strong commercial awareness and experience managing costs and driving sales
  • Excellent customer service instincts and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of food safety, licensing and health and safety requirements
  • A current Personal Licence holder
  • A full driving licence, with own vehicle
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and busy trading periods

  • Salary around £40,000 per annum, depending on experience and final scope of the role
