We are now looking for an enthusiastic, driven and people-focused Food & Beverage Manager to lead our food and beverage operation, develop our team and ensure every guest receives a warm welcome and exceptional service.

This is not a role for someone who wants to manage from behind a desk. We are looking for a visible, hands-on leader who thrives on being on the floor, supporting their team, setting the example and making a real difference to the guest experience every day.

The role

As Food & Beverage Manager, you will take ownership of the day-to-day operation, ensuring that our service is consistently welcoming, efficient and professional. You will lead by example, be present where the action is and create a culture where colleagues feel supported, take pride in their work and understand what great hospitality looks like.

You'll work closely with the wider hotel management team to ensure food and beverage is a real strength of the business, delivering memorable guest experiences while achieving operational and commercial objectives.

What you'll be doing

• Leading from the front – being highly visible on the floor, working alongside your team and setting the standard for service, presentation and professionalism.
• Developing your team – coaching, training and mentoring colleagues to build confidence, improve capability and support their progression.
• Driving standards – maintaining high expectations for service, cleanliness, presentation, product knowledge and attention to detail.
• Creating memorable guest experiences – ensuring every guest receives a warm, attentive and personalised service, whether joining us for breakfast, dinner, afternoon tea or a special event.
• Taking ownership of operations – ensuring shifts are well planned, adequately staffed and smoothly managed, with the right people in the right places at the right time.
• Building a positive team culture – motivating colleagues, recognising great performance and addressing issues promptly, fairly and constructively.
• Supporting weddings and events – working with colleagues across the hotel to deliver seamless food and beverage service for weddings, conferences, private dining and celebrations.
• Driving commercial performance – managing labour costs, controlling stock and waste, maximising sales opportunities and understanding the financial performance of your department.
• Working collaboratively – building strong relationships with the kitchen, reception, housekeeping, events and senior management teams to ensure the entire guest journey runs smoothly.
• Championing continuous improvement – identifying opportunities to improve processes, develop the offer and consistently raise the bar.

What we're looking for

We're looking for a manager who genuinely loves hospitality and understands that exceptional service starts with exceptional leadership.

You'll ideally bring:

• Experience in a Food & Beverage management or supervisory role within a hotel, restaurant, hospitality or events environment.
• A hands-on approach and the confidence to lead a busy operation while remaining approachable and supportive.
• A genuine passion for developing people, coaching teams and building a strong service culture.
• High personal standards, excellent attention to detail and the confidence to challenge poor standards constructively.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise, make decisions and remain calm under pressure.
• A commercial mindset, with an understanding of labour management, stock control, upselling and departmental profitability.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships across all departments.
• Flexibility to work a varied hospitality rota, including evenings, weekends and busy event periods.

Most importantly, you'll be someone who doesn't simply tell people what good looks like – you demonstrate it, coach it and inspire others to deliver it.
