Multi-Site General ManagerJob Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Multi-Site General Manager to lead our restaurant and bar teams. You will oversee daily operations across multiple locations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, strong financial performance, and consistently high standards of food quality, service, safety, and brand delivery.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on hospitality leader with extensive operational experience, strong commercial awareness, and a proven ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate management and operational teams across multiple locations.
  • Oversee front-of-house, kitchen, bar, and overall daily operations.
  • Maintain consistently high standards of customer service, food quality, cleanliness, and brand presentation.
  • Monitor sales, labour, stock, waste, and other key performance indicators.
  • Manage budgets and implement effective cost-control strategies without compromising quality or guest satisfaction.
  • Oversee inventory management, supplier ordering, and stock control.
  • Ensure full compliance with food safety, licensing, health and safety, and employment regulations.
  • Manage staff scheduling to meet operational requirements and labour targets.
  • Support recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, training, and performance management.
  • Develop site managers and team members through regular coaching, feedback, and performance reviews.
  • Oversee cash management, POS operations, shift reconciliation, and financial reporting.
  • Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, profitability, and the overall guest experience.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and accountable workplace culture.

Skills and Experience

  • Significant experience in multi-site restaurant, bar, or hospitality management.
  • Proven success in leading managers and large operational teams.
  • Strong understanding of front-of-house, kitchen, and bar operations.
  • Excellent commercial awareness, including budgeting, labour management, stock control, and cost management.
  • Experience using POS systems such as Aloha, Micros, or similar platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety, health and safety, and food-handling requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience in recruitment, training, team development, and performance management.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to remain calm, decisive, and hands-on in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in catering, events, banqueting, coffee, or bar operations would be advantageous.
