Calling all General Managers!

After a busy few years establishing ourselves (and becoming the no.1 most ordered burger on Deliveroo)! We have 5 sites in Manchester and 1 in Meanwood and now we're ready for round two in Leeds!

This is an exciting General Manager opportunity supporting our expansion into a new city. You’ll build the team, set the tone and create the store’s culture from day one, bringing our brand to life and building a genuine sense of community around it. This is a big leadership role, and we’re looking for someone proud to represent the brand and lead from the front.

Who Are We?

Burgerism started in Salford in 2018. Since then, we’ve grown to multiple sites and have recently been as The Best Hospitality Employer in the UK, by The Sunday Times, in the medium-sized company category two years running!

The Role:

As a General Manager at Burgerism, you’ll be the heartbeat of the store, the driving force of customer and team experience and business standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Own the Operation

Take full accountability for the day-to-day running of the store, ensuring smooth service and a buzzing atmosphere. You’ll be introducing our brand to the Leeds community, and you’ll be playing a key role in Burgerism's regional expansion.

Lead & Inspire the Team

You’ll be responsible for the training and development of your crew, with support and guidance from the support office. You’ll help to create a team that really embodies the Burgerism spirit and culture. You’ll set out clear expectations around quality, speed and customer experience from day one.

Create an Outstanding Guest Experience and Presence in Leeds

Make sure every customer is happy with their order. Respond to feedback with a bias for action, resolving issues quickly and turning challenges into great customer experiences.

Drive Operational Excellence and Standards

Ensure food safety, hygiene, and health & safety compliance are always on point. Delivering consistent food quality and speed from the start and implementing the strong systems and routines already set out in our existing stores. Staying aligned with the Manchester standards is super important; strong communication with the support office will be key to achieving this.

Be the Culture Champion

You’ll be responsible for creating the Burgerism vibe and culture in a new city, translating the energy we have in Manchester, and taking it to a new site! Making the space feel authentic to the brand, away from its home city, alongside ensuring the team understands not just how but the why behind the brand.

Pay: £31,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
