Restaurant Manager – Busy Italian Restaurant | Manchester City Centre

Salary: £32-35,000 per annum
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Location: Manchester City Centre

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Restaurant Manager to lead our busy Italian restaurant in the heart of Manchester City Centre.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences while developing a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the restaurant.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop the front-of-house team.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure every guest has a memorable experience.
  • Manage staff rotas, recruitment, training, and performance.
  • Control labour costs, stock levels, and ordering.
  • Ensure compliance with food hygiene, health & safety, and licensing regulations.
  • Work closely with the kitchen team to maintain smooth and efficient service.
  • Drive sales and maintain high operational standards.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager or Assistant Manager in a busy, high-volume restaurant.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
  • Commercial awareness with experience managing costs and achieving targets.
  • A passion for hospitality and Italian food.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
