we’re on the hunt for an experienced Assistant General Manager at Twenty Twenty Newcastle.

Salary: £33,000
Contract: 45hrs (Full Time)

We are looking for someone to come in and work with the owners and General manager to drive standards, quality and the business to the next level.

Customer experience is at the forefront of our minds, with quirkiness and theatre being an integral part of the product offering on both the drink and food menus. Everything we do is geared towards being top quality, good value for money and unique.

To be successful in this role you must be forward thinking, innovative, and results driven. A flare for creativity would be a bonus!

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in a hospitality management role is essential.
  • Food experience would be preferred, however not essential as training will be provided.
  • Cocktail experience would also be preferred but again training will be provided so this is not essential.
  • Excellent understanding of legal requirements, EHO, Health and Safety and Licensing.
  • Strong interpersonal skills - dealing with customers and managing a team will be a core part of the job.
  • An understanding of general hospitality managerial systems and how to control, influence and improve on areas such as GP, P&L, labour and stock management.
  • Willing to get stuck in and lead the team by example - this is a hands on role and managers will be expected to be competent in all areas of the business.
  • Ability to stay cool and remain professional under pressure.
  • Natural problem solver with an eye for detail.
  • Must be available to work weekends and nights.
  • Coaching and developing teams to deliver excellent standards and results.
  • Controlling costs to deliver business profitability.
