Duty Manager – Ted’s Crazy Golf

Oxford | Competitive | Full-time

Ted’s Crazy Golf is looking for an energetic, confident and hands-on Duty Manager to join our team!

You’ll be part of the management team, making sure every shift runs smoothly, the team are supported, and our guests have an amazing time — from their first hello to their final putt!

What you’ll be doing

· You'll be managing shifts, with other managers and on your own

· Setting the energy and standards for the team and leading by example.

· Motivating, coaching and developing team members on both departments.

· Training and developing the team, making sue sure standards are being hit.

· Welcoming guests and making sure they receive an amazing Ted’s experience.

· Managing ticket office, check-ins, bookings and walk-in guests.

· Handling guest feedback and complaints confidently and professionally.

· Supporting events, group bookings and private hire.

· Support of bar operations, service standards and stock control.

· Assisting bar manager completing regular stock takes, investigating variances and cover when necessary.

· Managing deliveries, transfers, wastage, replenishment and cellar organisation.

· Supporting wet and dry stock ordering and ensuring the venue is fully stocked.

· Following opening and closing procedures to high standards.

· Making sure the venue, bars and golf courses are clean, safe and presented to a high standard.

· Support managers with rotas and payroll.

· Completing daily operational, safety and compliance checks

· Reporting maintenance, safety or operational issues and making sure they are followed through.

· Jumping in wherever needed to keep the venue running brilliantly.
