Join the team at Shiremoor House Farm, a well-established pub and restaurant set within a converted historic farmhouse, known for its food offering, welcoming atmosphere, and strong reputation across the North East.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate General Manager to lead all aspects of our busy food-led pub and restaurant operation. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences, driving commercial performance, developing your team, and maintaining the high standards that our customers expect.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate and develop a high performing management and front of house team
  • Drive sales, profitability and operational efficiency
  • Maintain exceptional food, drink and service standards
  • Manage budgets, stock control and labour costs
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety and licensing regulations
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and community engagement
  • Recruit, train and retain talented team members
  • Work closely with senior management to achieve business objectives

What We're Looking For

  • Previous General Manager or senior hospitality management experience
  • Strong leadership and people-management skills
