Job Overview

The face of the funky. We need a manager who can command a busy floor, keep the energy electric and ensure every guest feels the vibe. You'll lead the FOH team, manage the flow and keep the drinks rolling!

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations in a busy dining establishment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining high standards of food safety and quality, and leading a team of staff to deliver an exceptional dining experience. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with strong leadership skills and a background in hospitality or culinary arts.

Duties

  • Supervise and coordinate all restaurant activities, ensuring smooth and efficient service
  • Manage staff schedules, delegate tasks, and oversee team performance to foster a positive working environment
  • Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring adherence to food safety standards and quality control
  • Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock rotation to minimise waste
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across all areas of the restaurant
  • Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally to maintain high levels of satisfaction
  • Implement training programmes for staff on service standards, food safety, and hospitality best practices
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff on food production, menu development, and presentation standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the restaurant environment at all times

Experience

  • Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting
  • Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster teamwork
  • Extensive restaurant experience with knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and food safety protocols
  • Background in culinary arts or kitchen experience is highly desirable
  • Experience in hospitality management including serving, barista duties, or hotel operations is advantageous
  • Leadership qualities with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with food production processes and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety
