Job Overview
The face of the funky. We need a manager who can command a busy floor, keep the energy electric and ensure every guest feels the vibe. You'll lead the FOH team, manage the flow and keep the drinks rolling!
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations in a busy dining establishment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining high standards of food safety and quality, and leading a team of staff to deliver an exceptional dining experience. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with strong leadership skills and a background in hospitality or culinary arts.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate all restaurant activities, ensuring smooth and efficient service
- Manage staff schedules, delegate tasks, and oversee team performance to foster a positive working environment
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring adherence to food safety standards and quality control
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock rotation to minimise waste
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across all areas of the restaurant
- Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally to maintain high levels of satisfaction
- Implement training programmes for staff on service standards, food safety, and hospitality best practices
- Collaborate with kitchen staff on food production, menu development, and presentation standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the restaurant environment at all times
Experience
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster teamwork
- Extensive restaurant experience with knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and food safety protocols
- Background in culinary arts or kitchen experience is highly desirable
- Experience in hospitality management including serving, barista duties, or hotel operations is advantageous
- Leadership qualities with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with food production processes and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety
