Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to lead our team and oversee daily operations within a vibrant dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional hospitality. This role involves supervising staff, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring a memorable guest experience. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing all aspects of the restaurant’s functioning, fostering a positive team atmosphere, and upholding the highest standards of service and quality.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
  • Supervise and motivate staff, including servers, kitchen personnel, and baristas, to deliver outstanding customer service.
  • Manage food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff on food production, presentation, and quality control.
  • Lead by example in serving guests with professionalism and hospitality.
  • Organise staff schedules, training sessions, and performance evaluations to optimise team productivity.
  • Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock control to minimise waste.
  • Handle customer feedback promptly and professionally to resolve any issues or complaints.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation across all areas of the restaurant.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to maintain quality standards for ingredients and equipment.

Requirements

  • Proven supervisory experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
  • Extensive restaurant experience with knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in food production, kitchen operations, or hotel management is desirable.
  • Knowledge of hospitality industry standards including serving practices and customer service excellence.
  • Familiarity with barista experience or bar management is advantageous.
  • Ability to uphold high standards of cleanliness, safety, and hygiene at all times.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with excellent communication skills.
