Bar Manager

Duties:

MUST HAVE OWN TRANSPORT - DUE TO LOCATION

3 MILES FROM FORE STREET HERTFORD.
- Oversee the daily operations of the bar, including managing staff, inventory, and customer service.
- Create and maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Train and supervise bar staff, including bartenders, servers, and barbacks.
- Schedule staff shifts and manage payroll.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
- Develop and update drink menus, ensuring a variety of options to cater to different tastes.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with the kitchen to coordinate food production for bar patrons.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or restaurant setting.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of beverage trends and mixology techniques.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to food and beverage service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
