Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Food and Beverage Manager to oversee the daily operations of our hospitality establishment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional service standards, maintaining food safety compliance, and leading a team of dedicated staff. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional with a passion for culinary arts and hospitality management to contribute to our reputation for excellence. Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of food and beverage service, ensuring high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage daily operations within the restaurant, bar, and kitchen areas, including supervising staff members.
  • Coordinate food preparation and cooking processes to ensure timely delivery of dishes that meet quality standards.
  • Supervise and train team members in food safety procedures, service protocols, and culinary techniques.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across all departments.
  • Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock control to minimise waste.
  • Maintain a welcoming atmosphere for guests by providing excellent hospitality and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Develop staff schedules, assign duties, and oversee performance management to foster a motivated team environment.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff on menu planning, food presentation, and production efficiency.
  • Uphold organisational policies related to food safety standards such as HACCP protocols.

Skills

  • Proven experience in supervising or managing a restaurant or hotel food service environment.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and culinary arts.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
  • Sound understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in food production.
  • Experience in serving guests with professionalism and hospitality expertise.
  • Ability to organise multiple tasks efficiently under pressure during busy service periods.
