We are looking for a talented, energetic person to join us as our General Manager in Merry Hill. We have exciting growth plans and this is an opportunity to join us and grow with us as our business develops.

We make fresh dough daily, ferment it for 72 hours, prepare key ingredients on site, and serve food that is built around quality, speed and consistency. We are launching with our first UK site in Merry Hill and we are only just getting started.

Who We Are Looking For

You will likely be someone who:

• Communicates clearly and confidently

• Has high standards around food safety, cleanliness and compliance
• Wants to grow with a business that is expanding

Experience and Skills

• At least 2 years’ experience in hospitality
• Experience supervising, coaching or managing team members
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Good problem-solving and decision-making ability
• A positive, can-do attitude
• Flexible leadership style and the ability to get the best out of different people

What You Will Be Responsible For:

• Driving sales, service and profit performance
• Leading, motivating and developing the team
• Delivering consistently high operational standards
• Reviewing daily, weekly and monthly performance
• Ensuring controls are in place and key business records are completed accurately
• Supporting recruitment, onboarding and training
• Coaching team members to deliver excellent customer service
• Planning, organising and leading meetings
• Promoting Slice House in the local community to build awareness
• Maintaining high standards in food safety, health and safety, and store security
• Managing performance through regular feedback, support and accountability
• Recognising strong performance and dealing with issues where needed
• Making sure equipment, fixtures and the overall store environment are kept in good condition
