Marketing Manager

Full time 5 days a week

Start date: October 2026

Salary package: Competitive including Tronc (Service charge from being part of a restaurant business).

Location: Shoreditch, London

Hours: Monday - Friday (occasional evening or weekend)

Plates, founded by Keeley and Kirk Haworth is an ambitious, plant-led food group with divisions in London and South-West France. The restaurant was awarded its first Michelin star in May 2025, and has built a strong and steadily growing digital presence from the ground up, now reaching an engaged audience across the UK and beyond.

Life at Plates is fast-paced, creatively rich and full of opportunities to learn and grow. As we continue to expand, we are on the lookout for a Marketing Manager to manage our email marketing and our social channels (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Linkedin) and support our wider marketing campaigns.

We’re looking for a driven, detailed and passionate marketer with a pragmatic approach to their work, established in marketing for at least 3 years to join our growing creative food group.

Responsibilities & duties

  • Execute core marketing tasks across multiple channels, including social media, email marketing and website updates.
  • Generate content ideas aligned with Plates’ brand positioning and wider marketing campaigns.
  • Write clear, on-brand copy tailored to the different audiences across our business.
  • Support campaign delivery for various creative projects from brief through to execution and reporting.
  • Help maintain and build community engagement across all our channels to grow our online community.
  • Take ownership of website updates (Wordpress) and create visual assets for newsletters and marketing emails.
  • Assist with partnership and influencer outreach initiatives.
  • Provide admin support to management and studio support when required.
  • Manage your own plus one other general enquiries inbox.

Skills & profile (what we’re looking for):

  • Motivated to make an impact from day one, and excited to contribute to the creative growth and engagement of audiences with the Plates brand.
  • A driven, positive & proactive attitude.
  • Experience of growing email lists, managing email marketing campaigns including designing email funnels, automation flows and personalisation.
  • Experience of setting up and managing paid marketing campaigns.
  • Knowledge of the current social media landscape and marketing requirements of a small business.
  • Have a good personal social presence, be up to speed on current trends, and content creation tools.
  • Comfortable moving between varied tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • An understanding of integrating A.I tools (e.g. Claude) into workflow (desirable).
  • Have a good sense of style to help direct and coordinate styling for photoshoots.
  • Passion for hospitality, food, and world-class dining experiences.
  • Minimum of three year’s experience in a similar role.
  • Curious, highly-organised and eager to learn every aspect of a small but multi-dimensional business.
