Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant /Porter to join our busy culinary team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen environment, supporting chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations. Duties

  • Washing, sanitising, and storing dishes, utensils, pots, and pans efficiently
  • Assisting with basic food preparation tasks as directed by chefs or kitchen supervisors
  • Ensuring the cleanliness of work surfaces, floors, and kitchen equipment to uphold health and safety standards
  • Supporting with waste disposal and recycling procedures in accordance with company policies
  • Restocking supplies and ingredients to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service
  • Assisting with general cleaning duties within the kitchen area to maintain a hygienic environment
  • Supporting the team during busy periods by helping with serving or other hospitality duties as required

Skills

  • Previous experience in food preparation or kitchen environments is essent
