Full job description

Based in a stunning countryside location on the outskirts of Oxford, The Oxfordshire is a 4 Star Hotel, Golf club and Spa that is looking to appoint an Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to work within the F&B Management team.
The Assistant Food and Beverage Manager is a key appointment, who will report directly into the Operations Manager. With a keen eye for detail, they will ensure that the service standards exceed guest expectations, whilst delivering service in a professional and friendly manner at all times.
Key Responsibilities

  • In conjunction with the Operations Manager, develop the team through continuous training, communication and motivation to maximise their potential and the success of the operation.
  • Guest satisfaction is key and evaluation of this will be used to ensure the high standards are being maintained; making recommendations to the Operations Manager where necessary.
  • Liaise with the Head Chef, Operations Manager and team to ensure that the agreed standards of food presentation and service are maintained consistently.
  • To maximise any opportunities for increasing the revenue in the Food and Beverage outlets.
  • Assume Duty Management shifts as required.
  • Maintain excellent communication and working relationships with all departments.

Working hours will be worked 5 over 7, and will be subject to business requirements.
The Ideal Assistant Food and Beverage Manager will possess a professional and friendly manner, work well under pressure, whilst maintaining exceptional customer care skills; in addition they will have previous Food and Beverage Management experience, be a team player and have working experience of Micros.
The salary is D.O.E, and you can expect to receive the following benefits
