About Us

The Bromley Court Hotel is a distinguished 4-star, privately owned hotel set within two acres of beautifully landscaped gardens. Under the same family ownership since 1931, we combine historic charm with modern comforts to create exceptional guest experiences.

The hotel features 111 air-conditioned bedrooms, extensive conference and banqueting facilities for up to 180 guests, and is one of the area's most popular venues for weddings, celebrations, meetings, and licensed civil ceremonies. Our Garden Restaurant offers breakfast, lunch, dinner, afternoon tea, and traditional Sunday lunches, alongside a comprehensive room service menu.

The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic, organised, and customer-focused Sales & Events Coordinator to join our team in October. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive individual with a passion for hospitality, events, and sales.

The successful candidate will ideally be available to start between end-September and early October 2026.

You will be responsible for coordinating a variety of hotel events, including weddings, meetings, conferences, private dining, and social functions, while supporting the hotel's sales objectives. Working closely with clients and internal departments, you will ensure every event is planned and delivered to the highest standard.

Reporting to the Sales & Events Manager, you will play a key role in driving revenue, enhancing customer experiences, and maintaining the hotel's reputation for excellence.

Salary

Annual salary £27,810 plus a 20% sales incentive available after completing probation period.

Key Responsibilities

  • Confidently sell weddings, meetings, conferences, private dining, and all types of event bookings.
  • Manage event enquiries, bookings, reservations, and client communications with accuracy and professionalism.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout their event planning journey.
  • Prepare quotations, contracts, event proposals, function sheets, and confirmation documents.
  • Conduct client appointments and hotel show rounds, showcasing facilities and services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, wedding couples, event organisers, suppliers, and key stakeholders.
  • Ensure a smooth customer journey from initial enquiry through to event completion.
  • Identify and maximise opportunities for upselling and cross-selling hotel products and services.
  • Monitor event budgets, invoices, and payments, ensuring accuracy and timely follow-up.
  • Maintain accurate records of enquiries, bookings, contracts, and customer interactions using CRM and hotel systems.
  • Attend operational and sales meetings, presenting weekly function sheets and upcoming business requirements.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to client emails, calls, and feedback.
  • Liaise closely with all hotel departments to ensure seamless event delivery.
  • Ensure event spaces are presented to a high standard for client viewings and appointments.
  • Maintain compliance with health and safety, licensing, and hotel policies.
  • Keep informed of market trends, competitor activity, and local business opportunities.
  • Support additional projects and duties as required by the Sales & Events Manager.

  • Previous experience in a hotel sales and events environment.
  • Knowledge of wedding, conference, and banqueting operations.
