Experienced Kebab Chef Required – Northampton

Irmak Northampton is looking for an experienced and reliable Kebab Chef to join our growing team.

Requirements: ✅ Previous experience working in a kebab shop, takeaway, or restaurant

✅ Confident in preparing and cooking kebabs, grills, and wraps

✅ Must have experience cutting doner kebab efficiently and consistently

✅ Able to work in a fast-paced environment

✅ Good understanding of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness

✅ Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team

Duties

  • Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production and service
  • Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes in accordance with established recipes and standards
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, including inventory management and ordering supplies
  • Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly adhered to at all times
  • Manage food presentation to ensure visual appeal and consistency
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop new menu items and special offerings
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen area
  • Serve dishes to guests when required, ensuring excellent customer service standards are met

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management within a restaurant or hospitality setting
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with previous supervising experience preferred
  • Extensive knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling procedures
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in food presentation and quality control
