What we're looking for

We are looking for trusted, well-presented Front of House Staff to join our energetic and friendly team. Are you looking for your next step in catering and leisure? Do you want to work at a high-profile attraction where you can build a career?

What we need from you!

Front of House Staff will be responsible for looking after our guests in Bar & Restaurant during breakfast and dinner services. Flexibility is key and a willingness to help in all areas is essential. Will include weekend breakfast and evenings on a rota basis. To be successful as Front of House team member, you should be outgoing, personable, and able to deal with guests in a warm and professional manner.

Part time positions available. Breakfast shifts are 07:00-11:30, with dinner shifts circa 17:00-22:00. Also opportunities to work frequent weddings and events.

Must be 18+ years

Main duties of the post

To create a guest-focused environment to ensure Wookey Hole Hotel becomes the first-choice hotel destination in the area.

To serve guests in the restaurant during breakfast and dinner services. Following the Steps of Service to ensure a consistently high standard of restaurant service for each guest.

To serve hot and cold beverages at the hotel bar, delivering drinks to the table and clearing and wiping the table afterwards. To also serve at the bar in the main attraction on occasion, during weddings and events.

To be knowledgeable about all the dishes on our menu and be able to recommend accompanying beverages.

To be knowledgeable about the hotel facilities and offerings and to convey relevant information to any enquiries received.
