Overview

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Bar Staff member to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering excellent customer service, a strong understanding of food safety standards, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for patrons. Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
  • Provide friendly and attentive service to all customers, creating an enjoyable experience
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in accordance with health and safety regulations
  • Check identification to verify legal drinking age and ensure responsible serving practices
  • Restock bar supplies as needed, including glassware, garnishes, and beverages
  • Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system
  • Follow food safety procedures when handling snacks or complementary items
  • Assist with organising events or special promotions as required

Experience

  • Previous experience working in a bar or restaurant environment is essential
  • Strong knowledge of hospitality principles and excellent customer service skills
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and responsible alcohol service regulations
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
  • Good organisational skills with effective time management abilities
  • Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
