Full Job Description

Valentina Deli & Fine Food Store, located in the heart of Weybridge, is looking for a friendly, reliable, experienced, and enthusiastic Delicatessen / Fine Food Store Specialist Team Member to join our team.

We are a busy, family-run delicatessen renowned for authentic Mediterranean foods, artisan produce, freshly prepared meals, and exceptional customer service. If you have a passion for quality food, enjoy working with people, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you.

The Role

As part of our team, you will:

  • Deliver outstanding customer service with confidence, warmth, and enthusiasm.
  • Prepare and package fresh food and delicatessen products.
  • Slice and serve premium meats and cheeses.
  • Replenish stock and create attractive product displays.
  • Operate the till and handle customer payments.
  • Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, food hygiene, and food safety.
  • Ensure the delicatessen and store are presented to the highest standards at all times.
  • Share your knowledge of our Mediterranean products and confidently make recommendations to customers.
  • Assist with deliveries, stock rotation, merchandising, and general store duties as required.

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Previous experience in a delicatessen, fine food retail, hospitality, or a similar customer-facing role.
