Full job description

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Pizza Chef to join our busy and friendly restaurant team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook high-quality pizzas to company standards
  • Manage pizza preparation and hand stretching
  • Ensure consistency, presentation, and quality of all pizzas
  • Maintain high standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness
  • Assist with stock control and food ordering when required
  • Work efficiently during busy service periods

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of different pizza ovens, including wood-fired, gas ovens with rotating bases, and electric ovens, with the ability to manage cooking times and temperatures to ensure consistent quality
  • Knowledge of traditional pizza-making techniques
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Reliable, punctual, and a team player
  • Food Hygiene certification is desirable
