Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated Restaurant Staff to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional guest services and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail to uphold our high standards of food safety and customer satisfaction.

We are looking for someone to work full time, across five days per week. Shifts will typically be 8.00 am - 4.00pm or 3.00pm - 11.00pm, including working bank holidays, weekends and over the Christmas period.

As this position involves preparing and serving alcoholic drinks, we are considering candidates over the age of 18 years old.

Duties

  • Welcome guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a positive dining experience
  • Take accurate orders and serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining excellent guest service standards
  • Support in food preparation tasks in accordance with food safety regulations and kitchen procedures
  • Assist with setting up dining areas, clearing tables, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the restaurant
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities
  • Handle cash transactions accurately using basic maths skills and process payments efficiently
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, including food safety protocols
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy periods

Requirements

  • Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques is advantageous
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks
  • Good organisational skills with effective time management abilities
  • Flexibility to work during peak hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
