Kitchen Porter

£12.71 - £12.91 per hour DOE | North Leeds, LS17 | 10.30am - 3:30pm Monday to Friday | Term Time Only | Permanent role, Meals on duty, free parking, uniform provided, training opportunities

Would you like to work Monday to Friday as a Kitchen Porter in North Leeds?

A prestigious Leeds client is looking for a KP to join their catering team. Working alongside experienced chefs and catering staff, you'll help keep the kitchen running smoothly by:

  • Washing dishes, pots and kitchen equipment
  • Keeping the kitchen clean and tidy
  • Setting up and clearing dining areas
  • Putting away deliveries

As the successful Kitchen Porter you will be a team player with good communication skills.

This would be an ideal job for you if you have worked as a kitchen porter in a restaurant, café, hotel or other catering environment. Alternatively you may have experience as a cleaner or production operative in food manufacturing.

You will be working alongside experienced Chefs and Catering Assistants in a busy yet friendly kitchen with a welcoming and multicultural workforce.

This is a company that can offer you bespoke training whether that is to make the most of your Monday to Friday term time only role or to progress further in a catering career.

The site is an easy commute from Leeds, Harrogate and the surrounding areas and benefits from free onsite parking.

Please note this role is subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
