Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor to join our dynamic team at The Raven. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional service. As a Supervisor, you will oversee daily operations, ensuring that the pub runs smoothly while maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction and great service. Your role will involve managing a team, providing guidance, fostering a positive work environment and the ability to maintain a cellar with cask ales.

Duties

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff in the pub to ensure efficient operations.
  • Provide training and support to team members, promoting professional development and teamwork.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in all areas of the establishment.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints effectively, ensuring a positive dining experience for all guests.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to implement new policies and procedures aimed at improving service delivery.
  • Good understanding of cellar management and cask ales

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or restaurant industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in culinary operations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
